If you've decided to try out the Outpost Platform there are some tips, exercises and pointers below to help you get started with the process.

Importing data

• Do you need too keep all your data?
• If your focus is on accurate data, the less fields for service owners and administrators to fill in the better.
• Setup some content guidelines, what information do you want service owners to write about.

Define your terms

We've found that the terms service and service directory have different meanings to everyone. Try running this exercise internally and externally and create a shared definition.
